Generosity from hubbie
Mark put a lot of effort into gathering all the relevent 'proof' that he meets the requirements to cross the pay threshold in his job. It paid off, because he's moved up the pay scale, and been given some back-pay too. This has enabled us to order two phenominally expensive portraits of the kids from Venture. To my surprise, it also paid for a humungous stash of Lush stuff for me! I spoilt Mark's plan somewhat, because I saw that he had an email from Lush a couple of days ago, but it was still thrilling to find a ginormous (sp?!) box on the doorstep, and unpack everything from my 'I want to try this' list, plus a few of my favourites too. Ultimately, of course, the most important thing is that Mark is actually getting some recognition for all his hard work, but the pictures are going to be real treasures for a long time into the future - and the Lush stuff will fill some more of those boring evenings that Mark will spend holed up in the study...

Wow, to the payrise, lush stuff and the portraits as well - when you get them please take a piccie for us. I suppose it's too late to request a phenomenally expensive tiny print as our christmas pressie?
