Yes, I understand your frustration Nikki. You could at least have been Wesley Crusher or someone else that we might once have cared about!
And re: Star Wars for Josiah, it's a very thorny question. My personal feelings are that he should start at the proper beginning, with Episode IV, i.e. the first one with Luke Skywalker. Only that way will you get the correct reaction when Joe discovers that Darth Vader is his father (Luke's, not Josiah's) in Empire, and then see the resolution in Jedi. After that, he can go back and find out about Anakin with Episodes I-III.
